LIAN BENG Group
has yet again demonstrated its ability in winning large residential construction contracts by clinching a $150.7 million contract to build a condominium in Upper Changi Road North/Flora Drive.

The contract win brings the aggregate order book to $812 million* as at 1 June 2011 and will contribute to the Group’s revenue from FY12 through FY14.

The Group’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Lian Beng Construction (1988) Pte Ltd, was awarded the latest contract by Tripartite Developers Pte Ltd, which comprises of the main building and earthworks contract, with an aggregate worth of about S$150.7 million.

The project will commence this month (June) and is expected to be completed by August 2014, and will cover the building works of Hedges Park Condominium.

The project encompasses ten blocks of residential flats or 501 units, one basement carpark, swimming pools, landscape and ancillary facilities, covering a total land area of over 330,000 square feet, featuring resort-like homes with three linear water courtyards.

Vista Spring @ Yishun comprises 8 HDB residential blocks: Its construction will reap Wee Hur $109 million in revenue.


Wee Hur Holdings’s construction arm was awarded a S$109 million public housing building works project from the Housing & Development Board (HDB) on 2 June.

The scope of this project covers the construction of eight residential blocks, an electrical substation, a multi-storey car park, minor sewer services and landscaping works at Yishun Neighbourhood 4 forming a precinct named Vista Spring @ Yishun comprising 696 dwelling units.
