Lion Global Investors sold MacarthurCook Industrial REIT in December 08, but now the REIT has gone up 28%. Dec 23: Sold 1,707,000 units at 24-25 cents. Jan 9: REIT at 31.5 cents. Gain foregone by Lion Capital = 1,707,000 x 7 cents = $102,000 Dec 19: Sold 4,137,000 units at 24-25 cents. Gain foregone by Lion = $289,000

UBS also sold low. Dec 15: Sold 1,077,000 units at 24.5-25 cents. Gain foregone: $75,400.

quite amusing to revisit some postings. this one was 7 months ago. MacArthurcook Reit at 24-25 cents. Today? 43 cents! The fears have not come to pass... Sometimes we get too panicky too easily, right? the other thing is that now the trailing yield on Macarthur is 17%, according to reitdata.blogspot.com/ NAV is $1.09, still very far ahead of the traded price of the units. So, not selling, at this price!
