Del Monte Pacific: After Del Monte USA.. good prospect was created by divads

went to Indonesia.. discover that Del Monte brand is famous there. I bought titbits, the chilli inside is Del Monte USA.

So if Del Monte Pacific completes the Del Monte USA acquisition on 18 Feb , it will have a strong hold on the 2 most populous countries in ASEAN, philippine and Indonesia.

As mentioned in it's recent financial report, Del Monte Pacific is going to change it's financial year end to April inline with Del Monte Food USA. It expects FY15 earnings to improve due to costs synergies with the Del Monte FOOD USA and perhaps introduction of new products in the US.

I found out that Del Monte Food USA in Mar 2013, announced result for Q3/FY13. Below is the link.

So by some calculation, it means in around late Aug or early September 2014, Del Monte Pacific will release the results for Q1/FY15 as Del Monte Pacific changes it's financial year end to April.

Meaning those who have holding power of at least 6 mths, now is the chance to buy Del Monte Pacific.

And there may be a right issue coming, so chance to subscribe more shares..

NINE stocks will be added to the FTSE ST Small Cap Index, the largest capitalised of which represent stocks with a regional focus or in the energy, offshore marine and real estate investment trust (Reit) sectors.

The nine stocks are Del Monte Pacific, Linc Energy, Pacific Radiance, OUE Commercial Reit, Soilbuild Business Space Reit, Centurion, OKH Global, Zhongmin Baihui Retail Group and Riverstone Holdings. The additions take effect on March 24.

But 15 stocks will be excluded which means the number of constituents will fall to 107 from 113.
