I am thinking to take an investment in GuocoLeisure in view of reguar buyback by QLC and his privatisation of Guoco Group. Does anyone has any view/experience with this stock? Thank you.

Looks very much a FA stock. Safe and undervalued. Waiting for .....Quek to make the big move. :-)

The uptrend is intact. Buyer sentiment is turning positive as more people realise that when the independent valuer issues a report in April, the current discount will look too unwarranted. I think GuocoLeisure can touch S$1.00 from the 76 cents range currently. Just my 2 c worth. :-)

Ouch! 3 months on, & the darn stock hasn't moved up to anywhere near $1.00. The valuation report for the Guoco Group was too conservative. The buzz has disappeared.

From what I read, OSK-DMG maintains a more realistic valuation of GuocoLeisure with a sum of parts valuation at SGD1.79/share (from SGD1.78 previously). BUY TP SGD 1.25. Still got upside from 79.5 cents currently. I m holding on to this babe.

gangho: how are you with this Guocoleisure? It is greatly undervalued even at 81 cents currently, isn't it? There is not sufficient investor awareness about this stock. The company lacks the drive to communicate widely about its business.
