Stock price has been range bound for quite a while at between 83 and 85 cents. Wonder if the insiders have any large quantities of ammo left, otherwise this stock will go adrift. 

This stock looks like it will close today at 84 cents, up 0.5 cents. It is a resilient stock, well controlled by the management as it holds a big chunk. The recent 3-c dividend , yet to be paid out, so those who are in the stock are still doing fine. Cos 84 + 3 = 87 cents. Not like some stocks, even blue chips, which have fallen 30% or more

Technics has a strong pipeline of orders which inspires the market.

Last night, announced that it had been awarded S$32 million EPCC contract from Vietsovpetro for “White Bear” and “White Cat” oilfields in offshore Vietnam.

No news from Citi, but the stock is doing nicely 88 - 88.5 cents, CD of 3 cents a share.

Apparently Technics is doing a presentation at a Citi event. Anyone knows more?

One joker sold 1 lot at 84 cents. Why?
Buying queue now at 85 ....& entitled to 3-cents dividend soon.
Company should do buyback again, save 3 cents a share 3.57% return compared to measly 1% in FD.

Technics has shown its true colors: It will buy back aggressively its own shares when it falls.

On Aug 12 friday, bought 1,023,000 shares at around 86 cts.

It's either company share buyback or David/Robin will buy. Take comfort in this...if you are a shareholder.

Based on AmFraser report (see below), Technics has signalled to the market that it is planning to pay out 8c in dividends for FY12.

Stock now at 91 cents, which is going to prove to be a bargain becos of the yield alone ... that's 8.8% yield.

There is a 3-c payout coming soon (from its 3Q result), and nothing for the 4Q. Technics is one of those weird companies that dont want to pay final dividends which take too long to dish out cos of the need for shareholder approval at AGM. So they pay in 1Q, 2Q and 3Q --- hahahaa... clever!

Technics released a set of excellent 3Q results yesterday and met our expectations of 12c dividend this year by declaring the last 3c. At the current price of $0.965, this translates into a full-year yield of 12.4%. Looking forward, we expect a further 8c for FY12, and including price appreciation to our FV, total return is 34%. Technics ranks high on our stock picks for its high dividend yield backed by strong core operations
