My calculator was just in front of me, so I punched some numbers. OMG, I estimated how much Chua Thian Poh, the Ho Bee boss, will collect in 2-ct-a-share dividend from Teckwah.
It's $255,600! Just collect dividend ....
he didnt lift a finger. That's how the super rich become richer.

heard total dividend is 3.6 cents. Pls clarify and confirm. share price is 0.33 if dividend is 3.6 cents, wow.......... this is so much better than puting it in fixed deposit......OMG

The announcement to SGX said: 2 cents for final dividend. For 1H, they had given out 0.8 cent as interim div.
Total for FY09 = 2.8 cents, or about
8.5% div yield at current stock price of 33 c.
Pretty decent, even if it's not the 3.6 cents that Punter Lim wrongly heard from his friend *(or whoever).

Very strong volume by 11.45 am now, 1.7 million Teckwah shares done. I am pretty sure some big guys are buying. Boutique funds probably.
The yield alone is a lure. 2 cents for final dividned out of 34 cents stock price = 5.88%.

I wonder how much Windows 7 business does Teckwah get. What is its role apart from packaging & (?) replication of the CD? When I did a Google search (keywords, windows 7, teckwah), there are articles on service provided by Teckwah. Mmmmmm...anyone here can shed light on this aspect?
